Republican U.S. Rep. French Hill wins re-election in 2nd District
U.S. Rep. French Hill (R-Little Rock) was re-elected on Tuesday in Arkansas’ redrawn 2nd Congressional District.
The Associated Press called the race for Hill at 9:05 p.m.
Hill was leading the race with 93,160 votes to Democrat Quintessa Hathaway’s 56,249 and Libertarian Michael White’s 6,617.
The Central Arkansas district was reconfigured by the state Legislature during the redistricting process, and it has been challenged, so far unsuccessfully, in court.
Hill, a former banker, was first elected to Congress in 2014.
