There haven’t been many surprises in state legislative races tonight.

However, just four votes separate the candidates for state House District 56 in Conway.

The race has yet to be called, but with 99% of votes counted state Rep. Steve Magie (D-Conway) barely leads Republican challenger Trent Minner.

  • Magie 4,039
  • Minner 4,035
  • Libertarian Howard Heffington 273

The races has been one of the most closely watched, and it was targeted by Republicans as a possible seat the GOP could pick up.
