Shelley MacDermid Wadsworth

Shelley MacDermid Wadsworth,Distinguished Professor, Department of Human Development and Family Studies, directs the Center for Families and the Military Family Research Institute at Purdue University. She has spent the last 20 years studying both military and civilian families as they experience stress and transition. She is a fellow of the National Council on Family Relations. She is currently coordinating an effort by a large group of scientists to rapidly create and deploy an online community aimed at helping families cope with the pandemic and build their resilience while they do so. The effort is titled 'Families Tackling Tough Times Together.'
